We're Building Financial Confidence Through Knowledge
Started in 2019 because too many people felt lost navigating their money decisions. We wanted to create something different—straightforward guidance without the industry jargon that makes finance feel impossible.

How We Got Here
It started with a simple observation. People weren't struggling with finance because they lacked intelligence—they struggled because the information was deliberately complicated. Banks and advisors seemed to speak a different language, one designed to keep regular folks dependent on experts.
So we set out to change that. Our approach strips away the complexity and focuses on what actually matters. Can you understand where your money goes? Do you know what questions to ask when someone's selling you a financial product? That's what we help with.
We've worked with over 3,400 people across the UK since launching. And what's interesting is that most of them don't need sophisticated investment strategies—they need clarity on basics that were never properly explained to them in the first place.
What Drives Our Work
These aren't just words we stuck on a wall during a workshop. They're the principles that shape how we create content and work with people every day.
Plain Language
If we can't explain something in simple terms, we probably don't understand it well enough ourselves. No hiding behind technical terms.
Real Transparency
We tell you when something's outside our expertise. We're honest about what finance education can and can't do for you.
Practical Focus
Everything we teach has to answer "okay, but what do I actually do with this?" Theory without application wastes everyone's time.
Who You'll Work With
Our courses run throughout 2025 and into early 2026. We keep groups intentionally small—usually under 20 people—because financial education works better when you can ask questions specific to your situation.
Most participants spend 6-8 weeks with us, though that varies depending on which programme fits your needs. We're located at 272 Main St in Blantyre, though many of our sessions run online for people across Glasgow and beyond.

Finnegan Osworth
Lead Educator
Spent twelve years in retail banking before realizing he was better at explaining finance than selling it. Now focuses on helping people understand the products banks try to sell them. Has a particular interest in pension planning, which he admits is possibly the least exciting topic that's also critically important.
